Fairfield High School is seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and talented teacher of Performing Arts for September 2026. This post is a full-time or part time position (negotiable) on a permanent contract.

Fairfield High School is looking for an inspiring, creative, energetic teacher with strong subject knowledge and enthusiasm for the Performing Arts with the ability to teach Drama to GCSE level. You will:

  • Be a strong and committed teacher with a proven track record of progress at KS3, KS4
  • Have excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Have strong classroom management skills
  • Have the ability to motivate students to achieve excellent results
  • Excellent understanding of the Drama / Performing Arts curriculum at key stages 3 & 4
  • Willingness to plan highly effective schemes of work and lessons
  • A commitment to enriching school life through extra curricular drama, and productions

If you are passionate about Performing Arts and possess the skills to make a difference to the lives of students, we look forward to hearing from you. ECTs are welcome to apply for this position. The successful candidate needs to be familiar with the Drama GCSE course (preferably Edexcel)
